Global Scholars is committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial accountability and integrity. These standards make it possible to put more of your resources to work impacting the lives of students worldwide.
Global Scholars has been a member in good standing of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) since 1989. We are audited annually by Keller and Owens, an independent accounting agency. Click here for our most recent financial information.
Global Scholars is governed by a responsible Board of Directors which meets four times each year to establish policies, set budgets, oversee operations, review accomplishments and to seek God’s blessing and direction for the ministry.
Global Scholars has no debt. We do not borrow money but trust in God’s provision to accomplish His will. We realize that our donors give freely out of their own means, often sacrificially. We honor this by maintaining a record of careful stewardship of the funds that God supplies through our donors. We honor the donor’s preference for the use of gifts for specific projects and professors as much as possible, while maintaining prayerful control of all gifts in accordance with the ministry purposes of the organization and IRS regulations. In the event that a project becomes fully funded, remaining funds will be used for a similar project if at all possible. A small percentage of each gift is used for administration of the project.
As a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, contributions to the ministry are tax- deductible to the full extent allowable by law.
We have been honored to be part of this unique ministry that brings a Christian influence to potential future world leaders. This is a rare opportunity to change the hearts and minds of today’s international youth.”
